The Eduacation City in Qatar
Hi, Every body
let's me talk about the eduaction in Qatar......
The government in Qatar is care about the education and also the not any education, the government likes their peoples to have a good education so they take the acceptation from the higher universities in US to have branch from it in Qatar,
For example, universities of taxes, will cornel, Gorge Washington, and carnage melon.
They believe those university can help the peoples to have good education and reflect that in the development way that the government lead it. Qatar is take this way because it believe the ways of education in USA are very benefit and can help the people in Qatar to raise their state which mean also will raise country state,
I give this example from contrast between Qatar and USA because they emphasize to have good education in their countries.

HARPERS FERRY NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK
Hi, every body
On Thursday , Oct.12th,2006, we went to "Harpers Ferry", it means "Harpers" is name of a person and "Ferry" is mean boat which goes from Harpers Ferry across the river. We went there with all students and teachers. We had a good time. We were meeting in the MEI building; then we got a bus from University of Maryland to Harpers Ferry. It's taking two hours, but I slept that two hours.
When we got there the teachers divided us in to four groups, I was with Nina's group. We went around the buildings in this old city and we got a lot of information and took pictures of our groups. We saw a lot of different sections. Harpers Ferry preserves over 240 years of American history. There are six major themes of park which are Natural Heritage, Transportation, Industry, African-American History, John Brown and Civil War. Also, they have two main transportation systems that brought goods to Harpers Ferry in the 1850s, the railroad and canal (from Harpers Ferry to Washington DC but now there isn't any water in it). The river helped build and destroy the town. We saw the confluence of two rivers; these two are Potomac and Shenandoah. We visited the Harper's House which built by Robert Harper between 1775 and 1782; this is the oldest surviving structure in the park. The furnished interior, typical of a tenant house, reveals the crowded conditions of this busy industrial town in the 1850s. MC Graw's Family paid $60 a year to rent the house to live in prostration of the Harper House in 1856. Captain Alanzo Pratt was primary enforcer of military law during the civil war. After that, we went to the bus to come back to Maryland. We have a very good time.
In my opinion, any student who didn't go missed out on a great trip!

My Speaking Partner
Hi,every body...
I am going to talk about my speaking partner. I had one before but she didn't come and when I sent message she didn't answer. Then Kim gave me a new partner and I met her last week in the lunch brake in stamp union. I was happy because she's a student and she told me about university. Also, we talked about our family and she was amazing because I have a big family. She asked me why I came here. And which major I want to join?
But the time was flying. And we decided to talk about our culture in the next time and I will meet her on Wednesday.
In my opinion, the speaking partner helps us to improve our speaking skills.And help we to talk with no shy.

The Important Things in The Class
That's my best class and it's better than the two last semesters. We have a lot of activities we can do it in the class can help us to improve our skills in reading. Like wise (SRA, Power builder, blogs, chats… etc). Also, we have improving our writing by write drafts. We learn about different countries and cultures because we have students from other countries. When we talked we learn more and more about other cultures. Also, every one has to sit near to the student who speaks another language for example (one of Arabic sit near one of Asia, Brazil or Iran). When the class began, I met my old friends and I made a new friend from other countries.

My Weekend in The ColoradoOoOo
Hi, every body
Let's me talk about my trip in Colorado. I went there with my friend Saoud and Mohammed AL-Hajri before two weeks. I met my friends who are study in University of Maryland last two semesters. When I went there I was going to the mountain and I took pictures with my friend Mohammed. The weather was very cold and I was sick when I came back to the Maryland.
