The first look fair, it's on Wednesday and Thursday of September 20th and 21st. We went to the first look fair. There are more there 400 student clubs and organizations, campus department and service and community service agencies and you can buy food to eat and learn about campus life and resources. There are a lot of sections them are culture, religion, health center and sports. Those are some of section. Harriet took us there to make interview with some section and I register with one of them. Also, I like that to speak with American people and its beautiful celebration.

Hi, everybody

Today, on the lunch break time Nina, my classmates and I went to the Food Coop. when we got to the Stamp Union; Nina took a picture of Amer, Saoud, me with a turtle sculpture while the other classmates were walking. Then all of us took a picture at the main entrance of the Stamp Union. Next, we go downstairs to the Food Coop and we saw the food. They have mostly vegetarian food. We also took a picture there. Then most of us went to another restaurant; I went to Subway. Because we aren’t vegetarians just Nina is.

On Friday Sept.8th, 2006, was the first day of class at MEI. When I came to MEI and I met my old friends. Then Nina came to take us to her class and we met with other students from different countries. Everyone in our class talk about themselves, to know each other and make friends with other classmate. After that, Nina took us to the lab and she taught us how to make a blog. Every one in the class made them own blog. Then everyone in the class writes the comment to the classmate.

My friend Mohammed and I walked to the Stamp Union. We ate lunch together at the Subway restaurant. Both of us ordered the same sandwich, chicken with salad, because we didn’t want to be full. Also we talked a bout our next vacation and how we will make a good plan for that vacation. We hope to have a good time on the vacation. Then we went to the lab, connected with the internet, and chatted with our friend on hotmail. Before the class began, we sat for a while near our classroom building. Finally we start class.

My name is Essa. I’m 18 years old. I’m from Qatar. Arabic is my first language. I have a big family: I have three brothers and three sisters. I graduated from high school in 2005. My favorite hobbies are swimming, soccer, diving, camping, and hunting. Also, my favorite subjects are math and physics. I think I have unusual hobbies because I like the sea for diving and swimming and I like the desert for hunting. I am interested in sky-diving and traveling. I came to the U.S. to learn English and complete my university studies in fire protection engineering. I want to be a good engineer, and I want to be an officer. MEI is helping me to learn English so I can complete my studies at the University of Maryland. Finally, MEI is one of the best institutes to learn English, and it has good activities.
